730 A Naval General Service medal 1793-1840 with Trafalgar bar, to James Hinds together with a letter by descent James Hinds was born in Manchester circa 1789 and started Naval service on the HMS Pheasant. At 16 he served on HMS Spartiate during the Battle of Trafalgar holding the the rank of 'Boy'. Together with HMS Minotaur, HMS Spartiate defeated the 8 gun Spanish ship Neptuno. 1000-1500
