This bag was used by Frankie Howerd on a regular basis to hold pieces of paper on which were written jokes, he took to venues and dipped into on an impromptu basis during the performance, also sold with a circular gilt metal butterfly ash tray taken as a travelling companion on his tours, together with a Dreweatt Neate catalogue of the Frankie Howerd sale 50-75
