216 A yellow painted wooden model of the Wild Goose, raised on a wooden base with metal plaque stamped "1949-1954 Wild Goose, Wing-Controlled Aerodyne, 1/16 Scale Model Trials Aircraft" 15cm h x 47cm w x 35cm d. Wild Goose was a late forties research project into tailless variable-sweep aircraft using a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It was developed to explore the advantages of variable-geometry or swing-wing aircraft and eventually evolved into the Swallow. 300-400
