The pistols numbered 1 and 2 on the breach and numbered 465 and 466 on the trigger guard respectively. The stocks and grips in walnut, the grips having checkered pattern with bright steel roccoco buttcaps. The lock plate and hammer engraved with floral design. The walnut case fitted with label of "Joseph Lang, 22 Cockspur Street" and containing ball mould, 2 turnscrews, wadding punch, copper and brass powder flask, cleaning rod, mallet. BREVETE" serial number 76417 and stamped a crown, the ebony and ivory grip carved floral motif with the same style engraved on the barrel and frame. The red plush lined mahogany case comprising cleaning rod, turn screw, steel oil bottle, cylindrical box with turned horn lid for spare nipples and also fitted a wooden 24 round ammunition tray. An early first pattern Fairburn Sykes dagger together with scabbard. The blade measuring 168mm (in total 295mm) weighing 242g and stamped The FS Fighting Knife and Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd. The dagger has no other official markings or stamps. The early brown leather scabbard (without wings) has a nickel chape.

The dagger was the property of Royal Marine L G Elliot service no PO/X5111 (name and number on reverse of scabbard) whose service medals are also being sold in this auction as lot 450
