A Regency satinwood and figured walnut, crossbanded and inlaid rosewood secretaire bookcase with moulded and dentil cornice, fitted adjustable shelves enclosed by astragal glazed panelled doors, the secretaire drawer fitted figured walnut veneered drawers and pigeon holes, the base fitted 3 drawers with brass swan neck drop handles, having ivory escutcheons, raised on a platform base 212cm h x 95cm w x 50cm d Ivory Exemption Certificate GFTMNXM1 £500-700

There is a small crack to the glass and the veneers missing throughout the astragal panelling and to the left hand edge, a small section of veneer missing to the right hand edge, moulding and cross banding missing to the top right hand edge and main carcass, veneer bubbling to the front, split to the left oval panel, both side panels have simulated wood effect paint, small section of beading is missing to the top of the right hand edge of the carcass and to the right hand of the base, the left tore handle is damaged and both doors to the base are warped and split.
