A mid Victorian brass bound rosewood toilet box with fitted interior, the drop flap revealing a mirror and having 3 silver mounted cut glass jars, London 1851, circular silver box and cover London 1814, 3 mounted scents with plated lids, 5 cut glass bottles, the lid having an engraved monogram cartouche SOLD £135

The box has some splits to all sides and some scratches to the top. All the silver and plated mounts have an engraved crest. The rectangular glass box has a broken corner, one of the 3 plated top bottles has a crack to the shoulder and 2 of the lids are misshapen. One of the squat inkwells and 2 of the larger ones have chips to the glass collars and one has a damaged stopper. The silvering on the mirror has completely gone and the frame has a small chip and several cracks to the veneer. The external measurements of the box are 33cm w x 12cm h x 26cm d
