A Victorian folio of approximately 80 pages of fern speciments, half bound in brown calf, the front board with gilt engraving Ferns A.E (Ann Evans, vendors Great Grandmother died 1878) together with a smaller separate folio of 4 pages of specimens of small ferns, together with a collection of pages titled "Specimens of Penmanship by Miss A H Evans, Miss Barlow's School 1848" SOLD £70

A small percentage of the ferns are named in the book. "The Specimens of Penmanship" is not a book but a collection of pages.
