Three set of famille rose cups, late Qing dynasty, comprising a set of four octagonal cups painted with ladies in a fenced garden, a set of four octagonal cups, painted with birds perched on branches of peony and a set of six cups, painted with a grasshopper and praying mantis amongst peony 3cm h x 7cm diam (14)  £100-150

Two of the octagonal cups decorated ladies have 1cm hairline cracks to the rims. Three of the octagonal cups decorated birds have 1cm hairline cracks to the rims, one of which is chipped. One of the cups decorated grasshoppers has a 0.5cm hairline crack to the rim. All cups in the lot have some wear to the gilded rims but are otherwise in good condition.
