New Forest Toys, Brockenhurst, a boxed fold out farmyard play set comprising pig stys, stables and pond, a metal water pump & bucket, together with carved wooden and painted figures of 3 cows and a calf, 2 horses, 2 foals, 1 sow, 1 doe, 5 dogs, 3 sheep, a lamb, 2 geese and a gosling, a milkmaid, a farm hand and a shepherd, made in the New Forest attributed to Frank Whittington (1876-1973) SOLD £3300

The Setter appears to be made out of 3 pieces and also has string bound around a rear leg, the Airedale is missing a rear paw, the pug is missing a section of shoulder, the friesian has chipping to 1 of the hooves, all figures are playworn and missing paint
