Gaspar Bouttats (1625-1695), "L’abbrucciamento fatto dagli, vascelli Olandesi di quelli de gli Inglesi nella réuéera di Cattam anno 1666 24 di agosto" (the tussle by Dutch ships against those of the English in the Chatham reef), 17th century engraving with later hand-colouring, 32cm x 42cm, within a stained wood frame. Note: scarce, only two other examples are known, one in the collection of the British Library and one was with antique map dealer Bryars & Bryars in 2017.  £200-400
