An Irish 18th Century oval mahogany drop flap gateleg dining table, the edge with carved floral and trellis decoration, raised on tapering supports with carved studded collars, webbed talon ball and claw feet 74cm h x 118cm w x 45cm w when closed x 144cm when open £800-1200

The top has some heavy scratches and some staining. The table has a small crack (5cm) to the top left of one of the drop flaps. There is old worm to the gateleg struts and the support struts. A small section of timber has been repaired at the top of one of the gatelegs. The rule joints are in good condition.
