Lot 1
This lot has separated slightly between the planks of the lid. The hinges have been removed and the top is slightly damaged where the hinges have worn. The top is held on with metal loops which go through the holes in the lid and the back panel. There is the usual wear around the feet. Inside the coffer the rear back hand panel has been re-inforced with a modern piece of timber.
