Lot 1
A rare Eric Ravilious designed Wedgwood King Edward VIII 1937 commemorative Coronation mug 4" SOLD £800

This lot is in exellent overall condition. There are two lines of crazing to the glaze to the outside left of the handle and there is some minor circular crazing to the interior base. The blue over-glazing is in very good order with no scratches or white showing through. The transfer print is generally well applied with no smudging of the diagonal lines on the lion unicorn or shield although there does appear to be an additional line to the right hand side of the shield running almost vertically. It can be seen in the image.
