GIO PONTI designed The companion lamp to lot 1034, an Art Deco style glass and gilt mounted uplighter, formed from 4 straight sections of glass and with opaque glass shade etched signs of the Zodiac 73"h x 24" diam.

Condition report

This lot does come with a photocopy of the vendor's original bill of sale from an American Gallery stating that they are circa 1938. Although we believe that they are last half of the 20th Century. This lamp has a chip to the glass, about the size of a 5pence piece to the top of the upright.
