A gentleman's Roamer wristwatch contained in a gold case

This watch does tick but we are unable to comment on its timekeeping abilities. The dial is scratched and dirty in the corners and the glass is also scratched. The movement is marked 17 Jewels Swiss Made and the inside of the case is marked 15125 Dennison Made in England and is hallmarked 9ct 375, Birmingham, 1948, ALD 195129.
