A canteen of silver plated cutlery by Mappin & Webb, in excess of 100 pieces £60-90

This lot is by no means complete. Many of the original pieces are missing and have been replaced by a similar but not matching set. The original set is slightly larger and has a plain edge whereas the replacement pieces have an indentation (see attached image 2) There are no tea spoons, no coffee spoons, no soup ladle, no sauce ladle, no carving steel, no mustard spoon, no salt spoon and no knife rests. The canteen box has a space for a knife sharpener but this is missing. There is a fish carving/serving knife but the fork that is present is Walker and Hall and smaller than the Mappin & Webb original. With the meat carving Knife and fork there is also included a game carving knife. There are 10 table knives, 10 table forks, 12 soup spoons (6 original & 6 later) 10 dessert/cheese knives, 12 dessert forks (7+5) 12 dessert spoons (10+2), 10 fish knives, 9 fish forks (i very badly affected by salt)and 6 table spoons (4+2). There is no key for the canteen box
