A Georgian fusee open faced pocket watch with silvered dial and Roman numerals by John Purnell the dial with aperture marked 7, ILLUSTRATED SOLD £2400

This watch is beautiful but does have scratches and dents to the case. There appears to be a broken plate/wheel within the mechanism and the watch does not tick when shaken. There is pitting to the outer case and the button on the outer case is dented. The outer case hinge appears to have an old repair. The glass to the dial is scratched and there are 2 dents to the inner case. There are also scuffs around the hinge on the inner case.
