Lot 160
A 17th/18th Century 30 hour single handed longcase clock, the 9 1/2" brass dial with gilt metal spandrels and Roman numerals marked Hum Hooper of Fecit, with bird cage movement and striking on a bell, contained in a pine scumbled case 83" £300-500

There is new wood around the seatboard and to the back of the clock case, where the vendors had the clock \"restored\" about 25 years ago. The clock was working when we viewed it in the house before it came in for sale. The clock is complete with weights and pendulum but we are unsure if they are original to the clock. There is some old woodworm damage to the case.
