A 19th Century fusee wall clock with 12" circular painted dial marked Carter Rippon, contained in a mahogany case with 4 1/2" brass back plate ILLUSTRATED SOLD £440

There is paint cracking around the edge of the dial and there is a small section of paint chipped below the number 7. There is a chip tot he winding hole and around the screws holding the face to the case. There is a chip to the dial above the 12. The clock does wind and is ticking but we are unable to comment on it's time keeping abilities. The movement has no markings or stamped numbers.
