Lot 168
A 19th Century French striking clock contained in a gilt painted metal and porcelain case, surmounted by an urn (f) £40-60

This clock is not working. The pendulum is present but there is no key. The movement is marked HYMARK PARIS and stamped 62633. It should strike on a bell. The urn to the top is very cracked and the middel right hand foot is also bent. When you try to wind teh handles around to test if they move freely, the minute hand does not pass any further than 40 minutes.
