An 18th/19th Century Scots 8 day striking longcase clock, the 13" circular dial with subsidiary second hand and calendar hand by A Grant of Sterling, contained in a mahogany case 80" (no weights or pendulum and trunk locked) £300-500 ILLUSTRATED

Condition report

Overall, the clock is in good condition. It needs a good clean including the dial. The hammer gong is missing. The vendor has now delivered the weights to us but the trunk door is still locked.
