An Astral bracket clock with silvered dial and Roman numerals contained in a black lacquered chinoiserie style case 8" £100-150 ILLUSTRATED

The clock is in fair condition overall. The dial is in good order, if a little grubby and the movement is in working order and chimes well, although we cannot guarantee its time keeping abilities. The case does have both wear and damage. There is damage to the lacquer around the door lock to the back door and the door itself is cracked to the bottom panel although the glass is in good order. The door to the dial is in good order although the spring to the catch is worn both the hinges and the glass are in good order. There are some small "nibbles" to the edges around the top and there is light wear to the gilding sections both around the top and the sides and also wear to the lacquer around the case.
