A 19th Century Continental Kingwood and inlaid marquetry desk the top also inlaid satinwood stringing, the base fitted a brushing slide above 1 long drawer, flanked by 4 short drawers, raised on square chamfered supports 52" £300-400

The desk is in good condition overall, although there is some wear and tear to the legs. There is some veneer missing to the front left hand leg and and some more lifting the rear left hand leg. Even more veneer is lifting from the back right leg. This leg is also loose. The desk is fitted with faux drawers to teh back and 5 drawers to the front. The bottom right hand drawer has been forced at some time and the lock is now missing. All of the other drawers appear to be complete.
