A Georgian style chiming bracket clock with arched gilt dial and silvered chapter ring, contained in a black chinoiserie lacquered case by Elliot and retailed by John Walker of London

As catalogued, this clock is Georgian in style and we estimate this clock to be early 20th Century. There is a dent, with a small loss of gilding to the top bar. There are chips to the lacquer on the top of the back of the case. There is a chip to the lacquer on the back door, near the handle. There is also a chip to the lacquer on the front door near to the handle. The face of the clock is marked "John Walker, London" & "Elliott Clock". The mechanism is marked 235025, F W Elliott, Croydon England, 7 (seven) Jewels, unadjusted. The dimensions are Height 15 1/2" including handle up, depth 5 7/8" x width 8 3/4". The clock does wind and tick.
