Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that the lot is actually a reproduction clock, as Southern Railway records do not list a BR 171SR. There are also other factors which make us believe that this is fake, such as the door being hinged to the left and a common number to the movement. In fairness, the clock does have a fusee movement but it is modern
