A George III mahogany longcase clock with silvered Arabic and Roman dial, second subsidiary dial, the 8 day 2 train movement with anchor escapement, striking bell - lacking. The case with broken swan neck pediment above a shaped trunk door flanked by split quarter pilasters on box base 87"h x 21"w x 10"d

Condition report

The case is generally in good order and is a good colour. The trunk door is in good condition and not warped. The panel of the box base is loose and it is missing the return moulding on the base to both sides. The dial is a later poor quality reproduction and the period movement requires a complete overhaul.
