Edward Funnell, Brighton. A Victorian ebonised bracket clock in the 17th Century style, ormolu mounted, having an arched topped silvered Roman dial set chime and rise and fall dials, set quarter repeating triple fusee movement, striking 8 bells and chiming gong, the case of architectural form, painted with flowers and insects, mounted Corinthian columns on scroll feet and plinth bracket base 16"h x 15.5"w x 9.5" ILLUSTRATED SOLD £2800

The case is in good overall condition although it has been later painted to a good quality. The case is missing the arched moulding at the back.There is some discolouration/tarninshing to the ormolu. The dial is in very good order. There is a stain/drip to the top left hand corner. The movement is generally clean and appears to be complete. The pendulum screw is missing. Overall, the lot is in good condition.
