A 19th Century French 8 day striking mantel clock with enamelled dial and Arabic numerals contained in a spelter case surmounted by a figure of a tiger ILLUSTRATED SOLD £140

There is a chip to the dial around the metal frame. The case is marked T Cartier. The mount and base look like they are associated rather than original to each other. The movement is not currently working. There are some small areas of corrosion to the head of the cat.
