A handsome pair of Japanese blue ground cloisonne enamelled vases decorated birds amidst flowering branches with silver mounts, signed to the base 7"h x 2" diam. together with a Matsumura and Nikko curios and arts department receipt for £65 dated 1936

One vase has a small dent to the silver rim but both are otherwise in good condition. They are both marked to the base.
