The Serial number of this lot is 9522. The lot needs both ends of the leather thumb grips replacing. The fret cut ends are in very good order. The brass inlay is also in very good condition. The bellows appear to be in very good condition. The end label reads " By Her Majesty's Letters Patent C Wheatstone, Inventor 20 Conduit Street, Regent Street, London. The case has a few repairs - it requires a new top handle/strap and a new lock.
