A pair of impressive 19th century Chinese blue ground cloisonne enamelled jardinieres with formal floral decoration, each with 4 panels, one decorated figures on a bridge with animals beneath, monkey riding a horse amidst flowering branches with wave to base, figures on a bridge above mythical beasts and buffalo amidst flowering branches, the other with figures on a bridge above a horned beast amidst flowering branches and wave to base, seated monkey fishing amidst flowering branches, figures on a bridge above mythical beasts and a fish amidst flowering branches with waves to base, raised on cast and pierced gilt metal bases, having later brass pierced removable rims to the top with mythical beast brackets, initially converted to lamps then to tables, each 40cm h x 51cm w  £2000-3000

The bases have been drilled, the later pierced brass rims to hold the circular glass table tops (removed for photos), damage to metalwork at rims, bruising and damage to the enamel in numerous places, some misshaping in places
