An 18th/19th Century 8 day striking longcase clock with grand sonnerie movement striking on 8 graduated bells and a gong, the 30.5cm arched brass dial marked Henry Mills Chippenham, with silent/strike dial, minute indicator, calendar aperture and gilt spandrels, contained in a red lacquered painted case, the door and base with printed scenes of tavern interiors, 242cm h, complete with wooden pendulum and 3 brass cased weights
