A military WWI prasmatic compass marked F-L No.87909 1917 complete with leather carrying case

The compass is working. There is a slight orange mark on the glass. The underside of lid is impressed 49810. There are some light scratches to the case. The Leather case is in fairly good condition although the strap is slightly worn. It is marked "French and Sons Ltd, London 1917"
