A 19th Century Japanese Wakizashi with 13 1/2" blade and "silver" Habaki with signed Tang, shagreen grip, contained in a red lacquered scabbard with metal Sayajira, Tsuba and Kshira, missing 2 knives to the side SOLD £480

The scabbard has some damage to either side where the pocket knives would have fitted. The blade has some very minor dinks though particularly under the guard. The butt cap is loose and the shagreen handle ends short of the fittings at either end. The pin which holds the sword together is missing with a small piece of wood in its place.
