Lot 399
A Victorian opaque glass oil lamp reservoir raised on a reeded column with Corinthian capital together with a Victorian pink glass reservoir raised on a reeded base SOLD £120

Neither lamp has been drilled for conversion. The Corinthian column lamp is in good order. The reservoir is in very good order with no chips or cracks. The chimney flame and wick mechanism are missing although the brass bed remains. The gilding has almost completely rubbed off the column. The Duplex lamp has no gilding left at all. The jewelling to the reservoir is almost all rubbed off. The reservoir itself is in good condition, there are no cracks or chips. "Loading" is probably pitch and is dried and rattling.
