A complete Staunton chess set contained in a mahogany box

This lot is a complete matching set. 1 white and 1 black castle are stamped with a red crown to the top. 1 white and 1 black knight are stamped a red crown to the top. The king is 9.2cm in height. All of the pieces are weighted. The cross is missing from the top of the black king. There are small chips to the crown of the black queen which also has a badly repaired chip to the base. One white bishop has a tiny chip to the top cut groove. Overall, however, this lot is in very good condition. The black pieces are ebony.
