A Malby's 9" celestial globe by George Philips & Sons 9", raised on a turned beech base with cartouche "Malby's celestial globe collated from the works of piazzi bradley Hevelius Mayer La Caille & Johnson George Philip & Son Map & Atlas Publishers 31 & 32 Fleet Street London" SOLD £320

There are some cracks to the top and bottom of the globe around the spindle, there are several scratches and scuff marks throughout. There is a small split in the top of the C-shaped metal frame that house the spindle.
