The letter dated 18 January, reads in full - Dear Doreen. I hope Â£300 including the frame is allright I am charging you half price which I like to do for friends and NO V.A.T. So could you just make a cheque out to me personally Elisabeth Frink. We were very pleased that Frank was honoured, highly deserved and I know he will have hundreds of letters to answer so instead of giving him another one, could you give him our congratulations and I hope we can all meet again sometime soon, its been ages since we did.
