Lot 481
This lot does have fairly extensive damage. The lid has obviously been broken in half and restored and the break line is still quite visible. Other damage has not been restored. There is a star crack to one side which is best seen on the inside of the tankard. There is also a hairline crack that runs down the body near the handle and also another one down the main body. It does make the whole tankard feel rather loose when you pick it up. However, the painted panels and gilt decoration are in very good order.
