Lot 52
A Victorian rosewood and brass inlaid tea caddy of sarcophagus form with hinged lid, fitted a brown and green tea caddy, raised on bun feet 12"w x 6.5"d x 6.5"h SOLD £190

The wood is quite faded all over this piece. There is a small length of cut brass work missing from the back of the top. There is some lifting of inlay to the front. The interior is in generally very good condition although the bowl has been badly broken. The canisters are in good condition but none of the zinc lining is still present. There is a circular scratch to the underside of the lid which has been caused by an oversized bowl. Overall, this lot is in good condition although it could do with a re-polish/colour.
