The Holy Bible containing The Old and New Testament newly tranflated out of the original tongues, printed by John Basket, Oxford, 1727, fully bound in reverse calf with blind stamped decoration comprising grid and 4 corner fleur de lis, the spine with raised bands, 1 section in red Morocco with gilt lettering, the others blind stamped geometric designs containing fleur de lis, folio SOLD £220

The condition is commensurate with age, some loss to corners of title page, occasional foxing and staining, losses to head band and tail band, but otherwise in good condition. The book is folio size. It contains one other plate at the start of the New Testament and does include the Apocrypha.
