A late 17th century collection of Sermons (mainly 1680/90's), the boards bound in contemporary blind tooled 3 frame black and brown calf with the corners having floral motifs, the raised spine with 5 bands, 8vo

Boards are splitting from spline, black central frame of front and back board cracking with some calf loss, scuff and wear to front back boards, multiple pen ownership inscriptions to stained front endpapers. Loss to 1cm of headcap. The Sermons are by William Stanley, George Hickes, William Beveridge, Jonathon Belgrave, Gilbert Burnett, E.Young, James Bedford, W.Fleetwood, Thomas Lord, Gilbert lord and J.Adams.
