A letter from Mount Everest Base Camp signed by all members of the British 1936 Everest Expedition dated "1st May 1936" - together with covering letter from Team leader Hugh Rutledge explaining to the requestee of the signatures that this was the highest point they could offer autographs as above base camp the team is scattered and writing are limited to diary entries alone
