Lot 550a
The door knockers are predominantly brass in various states of cleanliness and are of assorted subjects. There are no plain doorknockers, they either depict animals such as terriers, spaniels, horses, a bat etc or famous people such as Shakespeare, Esmerelda, a lady in Welsh costume or coats of arms/insignia for example the Isle of Man. None of the knockers are particularly large, with the biggest being around 10cm in length. They are all in good condition.
