An early 20th Century Chinese boxwood fan decorated with figures at pursuits 26.5cm, contained in a chinoiserie decorated box, the interior decorated with birds and flowers, the exterior with a procession of figures 31cm

The fan has some minor wear to the gilt banding and to the crease lines but is otherwise in good condition. There are some cracks to the lacquer on one end of the box and some wear to the interior.
