An "Austrian" twin handled urn decorated a classical scene with gilt mounts, raised on a square base, the base marked Adonis and Ariadne Hero and Leander, 14.5" SOLD £60

This is missing the lid and there are several signs of restoration to the urn. One of the handles has been broken off and restored and the other has had restoration to beak and has been re gilded. There is a section of restoration where the urn has been knocked of the spreading foot. The gilding to the foot of the plinth is repainted
