A Victorian Winterhalder & Hofmeire 8 day striking bracket clock with 16cm gilt dial, silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals, striking on 5 gongs, contained in a heavily carved oak case, with presentation plaque "Presented to Mr Frank Clocks by the officials and employees of The London Scottish Western Railway, Western District, upon his appointment as Permanent Ways Super Intendant at Wimbledon Exeter December 1900", complete with pendulum and key 43cm h x 28cm w x 20cm d SOLD £320

The clock is current running, there are 2 chips to the moulding to the left side. The carved side panels are slightly pushed in and the fabric covers have some small tears. There is the remains of a (three figure?) label on the inside of the door. There are some repair/service marks etched on part of the movement.
