Lot 572
A Walton Staffordshire arbour figure of a standing lady gardener 6" (f and r), 1 other gentleman with dog 6" (f and r) and 1 other of a standing grape picker 4" (f and r) £35-45

This lot are all as catalogued being all faulty and restored. The lady gardener has had the boughs of the tree behind her broken and glued (badly). The figure of the man and dog has been smashed to pieces and repaired. The base has been glued and then painted on the inside but all the breaks can still be seen, even over the foot and leg of the figure. The greenery behind this figure has also been damaged. This has been badly and obviously restored as can be seen in the additional images. The grape picker has been restored around the top of the base and also to his left arm and basket which have been broken off and glued. The top of the basket also shows restoration.
