Lot 577
Both of the dishes in this lot have damage and light restoration to them. The dish marked Thou God See'st Me has chips to the corners on the underside and several black splodges around the motto. The right hand corners are not as detailed as the left to the front and we believe this is from not very detailed repair. The dish marked Prepare to Meet thy God has a large chip to the bottom left corner and the other corners also appear to be chipped/missing bits although the colour is correct so again we believe that the damage has been lightly repaired and overpainted.
