A Victorian sampler with alphabet and motto, decorated The Crystal Palace by Frances Myers 1886 19" x 16 1/2" ILLUSTRATED SOLD £140

This sampler is unframed but is in very good order. It is sewn with both wool and fine thread. None of the stitching has any damage and the backing material is in very good order and has no holes or tears. The stitching is faded in places but the overall colour is good.
